I believe the immune system is an important part of our bodies. The immune system is responsible for protecting us against many diseases, which, unfortunately, are too common nowadays. As such, we want to boost our immunity and make it stronger to help fight potential ailments, and for good reason! The immune system protects us from illness and disease, and when the immune system isn’t working the way it should, we suffer.

Many things can help improve our immune system. Here, I want to talk about few of them that can help boost the immunity.


Boosting immunity through diet:

A healthy diet is good at boosting immunity. The following are some tips to make the diet healthier:

  • Munch on nuts: Nuts contain healthy fats that help our immune system become stronger.
  • Have a glass of juice: A glass of freshly squeezed juice is a great source of fibre, antioxidants and natural sugars.
  • Drink plenty of water: Our body requires water to function efficiently. Stay hydrated!
  • Eat green leafy vegetables: Spinach, parsley, lettuce, kale, watercress, etc. are a great source of the valuable nutrition that our body needs to stay healthy.
  • Health supplements: These help fill up any gap in our diets and help our body function
    optimally.


Boosting immunity through lifestyle.

Healthy lifestyle habits like yoga, meditation, along with good eating, drinking, and sleeping practices, have a huge impact on the way our immune system functions.

  • Get adequate sleep: Proper sleep gets the body and mind ready to face the challenges of the next day.
  • Be active: Lead an active lifestyle!
  • Avoid over exposure to sunlight: Proper exposure to sunlight helps the body product Vitamin D. Over-exposure to sunlight hurts the skin.
